Whisky

This 700ml release, bottled at 46.8%abv, is our first blended whisky, bringing together the character of grain spirit with the influence of our distinctive maturation process. The whisky was distilled and matured for 4.5 years in 100-litre Apera casks, which had previously held Black Gate peated single malt.
The previous life of these casks has imparted an additional layer of complexity, allowing the whisky to develop very subtle traces of the rich, smoky character associated with peated malt while retaining the smooth, approachable qualities of the grain spirit. The result is a unique expression that reflects the influence of the cask, showcasing depth and balance.
