Country to Coast #6: Our Award-Winning Collab with Fleurieu Distillery

We’re beyond stoked to share the story of Country to Coast #6 – our latest limited-release peated whisky, crafted in partnership with the ripper crew at Fleurieu Distillery on South Australia’s stunning coastline.
This isn’t just any whisky. It’s two barrels, two climates, one epic yarn.
How It Came Together
- Barrel 1: Distilled and matured right here in Mendooran by Brian – peated malt from Inverness, Scotland, direct-fired in our pot still, then tucked away in a second fill Bourbon Cask in our warehouse under the big NSW sky.
- Barrel 2: Born at Fleurieu Distillery, where coastal breezes and salty air work their magic in a second fill Apera cask.
We shipped our barrel across the country, let them marry together, then bottled just 300 bottles at 46% ABV. The result? A smoky, balanced dram with sweet peat, iodine depth, and a long, coastal kiss. Pure Mendooran grit meets Fleurieu finesse.
